Đề cử Oscar 2024: “Oppenheimer” dẫn đầu với 13 đề cử
Chương trình công bố các đề cử cho giải Oscar lần thứ 96 vừa diễn ra vào ngày 23/1/2024 dưới sự dẫn đắt của nữ diễn viên Zazie Beetz và nam diễn viên Jack Quaid tại nhà hát Samuel Goldwyn của Viện Hàn Lâm Khoa học và Nghệ thuật Điện ảnh, Bang California, Hoa Kỳ.

Không nằm ngoài dự đoán của cộng đồng hâm mộ điện ảnh, tác phẩm Oppenheimer của đạo diễn Christopher Nolan gây ấn tượng khi nhận được 13 trên tổng số 26 đề cử của Oscar năm nay. Theo sau là bộ phim viễn tưởng Poor Things với sự góp mặt của Emma Stone với 11 đề cử. Bộ phim chính kịch Killers of the Flower Moon do đạo diễn Martin Scorsese mang về 10 đề cử và bộ phim bom tấn mùa Hè 2023 Barbie nhận được 8 đề cử.
Lễ trao giải của Viện Hàn Lâm Khoa học và Nghệ thuật Điện ảnh lần thứ 96 sẽ được phát sóng vào tối tối ngày 10/3 (6 giờ sáng ngày 11/3 theo giờ Việt Nam) dưới sự dẫn dắt của Jimmy Kimmel tại nhà hát Dolby, Hollywood. Đây là lần thứ tư Jimmy Kimmel dẫn dắt sự kiện trọng đại này.
